My Story...

I retired from teaching a few years ago and was faced with the EXTREMELY CONFUSING Medicare application process. 

I was overwhelmed with Direct Mail Marketing, Phone Calls (from call centers) and People Knocking on my door.

That's when I decided to study and understand Medicare plans.  I realized, applying for a Medicare plan is a very confusing process and the longer you wait, the less years you get paid and if people wait too long to sign up for benefits, they even may be penalized every month for as long as they receive their benefits. 

So here is the solution.  Think of any another governmental agency you have to deal with. Whether it’s the IRS, or Postal System, Social Security, or the Medicare System... Having someone you trust, like an advocate, is optional but can be helpful to navigate the system.

Finally, Scammers are always looking for people to take advantage of so, just like your Social Security Number...
